KEATON - Herringbone
Wikipedia describes herringbone as a distinctive V-shaped pattern. It is distinguished from a plain chevron by the break at reversal, which makes it resemble a broken zigzag. According to The Free Dictionary it is a pattern consisting of adjoining vertical rows of slanting lines, any two contiguous lines suggesting either a V or an inverted V.
However described, it is a classic - given a new interpretation by Nigel Knox.
